- Contribute to architecture discussions and technical design reviews
Frontend development
- Build responsive web applications that work across modern browsers and devices
- Create intuitive interfaces for complex financial and operational workflows
- Develop dynamic forms, dashboards, document-review screens, and administrative tools
- Connect frontend applications with backend APIs and third-party services
- Implement loading, validation, error, permission, and empty states
- Improve frontend performance, accessibility, consistency, and maintainability
- Work with reusable design systems and component libraries
- Ensure that interfaces handle incomplete data and unexpected conditions gracefully
Data and databases
- Design and maintain database schemas for customers, applications, documents, workflows, and audit records
- Work with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, or similar data technologies
- Write efficient queries and improve database performance
- Maintain data consistency across services and processing workflows
- Build data-validation, normalization, and reconciliation processes
- Support database migrations and evolving data requirements
- Protect sensitive customer, business, and financial information
- Help create reporting and operational visibility into application status, processing times, and exceptions
External integrations
- Integrate with financial institutions, insurance carriers, identity providers, credit platforms, payment systems, and data vendors
- Build reliable API clients and integration services
- Transform data between internal models and external provider formats
- Handle authentication, rate limits, timeouts, retries, duplicate requests, and provider errors
- Monitor integration health and troubleshoot failed transactions
- Document integration behavior, assumptions, and known limitations
- Design integrations that remain maintainable as external APIs evolve
AI and intelligent automation
- Build AI-assisted capabilities for document processing, data extraction, classification, search, and workflow automation
- Integrate large language models and machine-learning services into customer and internal applications
- Develop retrieval-augmented generation and structured data-extraction workflows
- Connect AI models with application data, APIs, databases, and business rules
- Add validation, confidence scoring, fallback logic, and human-review steps
- Test AI features for accuracy, reliability, latency, cost, and user experience
- Help prevent hallucinations, prompt injection, sensitive-data exposure, and unreliable outputs
- Use deterministic software and business rules when they provide a safer or more predictable solution
Cloud infrastructure and deployment
- Deploy and operate applications using AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, or a similar cloud platform
- Work with Docker, serverless services, managed databases, storage, queues, and cloud networking
- Contribute to continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines
- Automate application testing, builds, deployments, and environment configuration
- Use feature flags and controlled releases to reduce deployment risk
- Support development, testing, staging, and production environments
- Monitor cloud usage, application performance, and infrastructure costs
- Help improve deployment speed, repeatability, and reliability
Security and privacy
- Implement secure authentication and authorization workflows
- Build role-based access controls and protect customer data
- Follow secure coding practices throughout the development lifecycle
- Manage application secrets and sensitive configuration securely
